Course is all online through MIU’s Canvas platform. You will complete one module per week online.

Pre-requisites: None 

You will join a group of individuals globally all wanting to learn about the inner experience of consciousness and practice our Transcendental Meditation technique together in the course.

You will need to have a private, personal space in your home or wherever you join that must have a space for you to sit, an 8 x 8 square for yoga asanas and a small desk or table for your computer from which you will join our immersion sessions. 

This program is designed for English-speaking, US and international TM-Sidha professionals who aspire to become certified TM teachers and who are unable to go away to the 5-month in-residence International Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Residential Course.

~650-Hours Online (Mostly asynchronous with 2 hours required synchronous (live) components culminating with one end-of-course 25-day in-residence required for Certification to Teach TM.

Program Duration: 17 month program designed with built-in flexibility to accommodate different learning paces while maintaining structured timeframes to ensure all participants progress through the requirements in a timely manner.

The TTC P requires an average commitment of 12 – 18 hours per week, depending on pace of learning, allowing for both adaptability and consistent progress.   

You will need a private space in your home that can be separated by a screen, closed off by a door, or able to be made “private” for certain aspects of the course that are confidential and require your focused study and practice alone. You will need a chair, a desk for study. You will need a laptop for the online learning of the course with a camera, microphone and headphones. 

Course Duration: 17 months from start of the Home Learning Program to certification.

Course Starts: June 13, 2026 – Septemeber 18, 2027 

Final Weeks in residence are required for certification and will be held at MIU in Fairfield, IA.

Synchronous Components (Must attend live online):

1. Live Webinars (Zoom) for Each “Course” (24 Total for entire Course)
• Frequency: Weekly 2-hour webinars on Saturdays*.
• Purpose: Engage, discuss, collaborate, study, test out and be together in our learning classroom. 
•                                    
• Monthly Half-Day “Immersions”:
1. Schedule: First Saturday per month (4.5 hours).
2. Format: A retreat-like experience featuring group program, MMY videos, interactive sessions for deepening understanding and experience.
3. *No live webinar on these days since we are all together for group TM & TM-Sidhi Programme practice and experience meetings.
• Learning Foundations: (everything related to course material knowledge) 
1. Three categories for booking sessions with time-slots for instructors 
1. Informal “check-in” (15 minutes)
2. Rehearsal Session (30 minutes)
3. Testing Session (45 minutes)
2. Canvas Integration options for seeing who is in the hub and could meet for buddy study and/or group study sessions.

2. Milestone Assessments – scheduled testing sessions (8 total) with a course facilitator/T.A. to pass required assessments
• Requirements: Participants must complete in-webinar assessment sessions or organize and schedule peer-group recorded assessments over the 17-month course duration.
• Additional Peer Study Groups: Certain assessments require group study sessions organized individually with your peers weekly to complete milestone assignments.
• Potential “Study Hall” Weekend sessions may be instituted if student need more structured study time.

Asynchronous Components:

• MIU Canvas “Sub-Courses” for each Core TTC knowledge component (learning is overlapping and 2-3 sub-courses are taken simultaneously):

• Verification of the TM Practice (16-20 weeks)
• Traditions: Custodians of Vedic Knowledge (25 – 30 weeks)
• The Seven Steps of Learning TM (22 – 26 weeks)

• Self-Study time: Course Participants are expected to study about 10-12 hours per week to learn the course materials to the level of tested mastery.

• Significant Hours of MMY Videos: Videos played during the webinars are not recorded and must be watched asynchronously that week for those unable to attend live. All other content is recorded and made available for later viewing. Maharishi Instructional Videos convey knowledge directly from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi — the founder of the Transcendental Meditation technique
• Discussion Forums allow for structured online engagement between participants

Quizzes and Uploaded Video Assignments for Self and Peer-based Assessments

1. 1. Language: Please note that the entire TTC LR is offered in English at this time. While we may have some online solutions to provide certain course elements translated into other languages, all tests and course instructions from course leaders will be in English. 
   2. Attend events and maintain dynamic relationships with your local TM Center or Certified TM Teacher whenever/wherever possible (prospective teachers need a Certified TM Teacher to provide recommendations when applying).
   3. Attend at least one TM Retreat within one year of applying for TTC. (This can be fulfilled through having completed the Center Invincibility Course (CIC)
   4. If you are not yet a practicing TM-Sidha, you will need to apply for and complete the Center Invincibility Course (CIC) AT LEAST 3 MONTHS PRIOR to the start of the August 2026 TTC LR Course. (Consult your local TM Center or for more information visit: https://enjoytm.org/tm-sidhi-program// ). Please note that the cost of becoming a TM-Sidha through the Center Invincibility Course (CIC) is not included in the TTC LR Course fee.
   5. If you have not done so already, please sign up for Dr. Tony Nader’s: Consciousness: A New Paradigm. (A new course starts April 12 and we recommend signing up now!)
   6. Continue to enjoy group meditation practice and TM Retreats locally as often as possible

   Advanced Techniques (AT) – it is strongly recommended that you seek to learn or have already learned 2-4 AT’s to become an International Certified TM teacher. (Consult your TM Center for more information or visit: https://enjoytm.org/advanced-techniques-of-the-tm-program// ).

1. Complete the Online Application Form and pay the $300 Application fee on the CEE website (Link to be provided in the next email) between March 15, 2025 and April 18, 2026.
2. Attend the Online Live Application Webinar on Apr 5, 2026.
3. Enroll in & complete the TTC LR Application Course: Heritage of Consciousness: The History and Origins of the Transcendental Meditation Technique (Starting March 15, 2026 – May 21, 2025). 
4. Enroll in Dr. Tony Nader’s Course: Consciousness: A New Paradigm (if not previously taken).
5. Complete a 45-minute Personal Interview between Apr 7 – May 25, 2025 with the TTC LR Course Director/Faculty.

This course delves deeply into many powerful and ancient modalities for improving health and expanding Consciousness. It includes:

• Deepening your own understanding of Dr. Nader’s Theory of Consciousness and how it applies to practical life
• Gaining the ability to talk about Consciousness and how the expansion of Consciousness leads to solutions in life in a clear and understandable way
• Learning how to introduce others to programs to create balanced health and diet, to build homes and buildings that support greater success, to identify the patterns and trends in life to avoid problems before they arise, and more
• Understanding how to identify what area of life is most in need of attention to expand the experience of Consciousness
• Gaining the chance to contribute in a rich and meaningful way to expanding the experience of Consciousness globally.

Steps to Certification:

• View the videos and complete the coursework in the small groups
• Submit a 5-minute Consciousness talk video
• Practical training consisting of 4 client meetings prior to certification

Once Your Are Certified as a Consciousness Advisors, you will:

1. Have access to the official Consciousness Advisor online booking service with your own personal website created for you containing your bio, online appointment booking calendar and payment facilities.
2. Automated Client follow-up: All your clients will automatically receive confirmation and reminder emails and text messages through our EASY booking system. 
3. Receive support with new materials, ongoing training, technical and practice support, and more.
4. Those with their own client base will receive 85% of your net client fees and those receiving clients through one of our marketing partners will receive 70% of fees and the partner will receive 15%. There will be additional compensation for supporting your clients to book in some of the other Consciousness-based programs and services to support their Consciousness journey.

Starts August 18, 2024 with the Consciousness Applied course, and continues October 5 – November 23 with the Consciousness: A New Paradigm course.

• Over 70 hours of online knowledge videos with Dr. Tony Nader and other experts in Maharishi Technologies of Consciousness
• Weekly live Zoom class sessions with expert Certified Consciousness Advisors
